Purpose:
The Flintridge Prep Internship Program is designed to give students a deeper understanding of working in a company. The internships will vary, depending on the needs of the company, but most will involve helping the organizations with hands-on experiences that are core to the company's operations. Students will gain skills, knowledge, and experience of how the workplace operates. The students are asked to formulate recommendations, observations, and insights about what is working/not working and what changes they would make in the company. The experience is intended to motivate the students to gain understanding of successful work requirements, create a network of contacts, and pursue work experience at select companies based on interest.
